Welcome to Fluid Occasions! |
|
Fluid Occasions with Patrick Schwerdtfeger is a podcast series designed to help busy tech-savvy professionals educate themselves on quality wines and get recommendations on which ones give you the biggest bang for your buck. Each podcast reviews a different wine. They'll be selected based on quality level and value. Most will be in the $25 to $50 price range – respectable labels with ratings generally higher than 90. We'll include interesting background information about the label and the winery as well as accompanying food recommendations and a price comparison to other wines with similar ratings, allowing you to show up knowledgeable and confident in your choice.
Fluid Occasions is all about efficiency. Our stated objective is to get you the tactical guidance and critical information you need as quickly and as easily as possible. We're all busy. We want you to consistently select the best possible wine with the lowest possible price (not that anyone needs to know that) and have the juicy nuggets (you know, those fascinating data points that are remembered long after conversations fade away) to back up your selection - all in about 8 minutes per week! Each review is posted online so you can refer back whenever you like. In time, we'll include a search function so you can filter the reviews according to food recommendations, optimal opening suggestions or price. And since these quality wines are difficult to find at your local grocery store, we've also included links to online resources where you can buy them directly.
I selected wine.com because it offers the most rebust platform with the best values I've seen anywhere. And do I make a commission by providing this link? Yes, I do. As an affiliate, I earn a 5% commission on all sales that result from people entering wine.com from this site. Prices are the same either way so the 5% either goes to them or it contributes to the operation of Fluid Occasions. If you choose to purchase some wine, I hope you'll use this link. |
